I am new to w2k pro...
I have two machines networked in a single workgroup with
computernames; ONE and TWO (say). Everything was working fine:
sharing folders, printers, internet connection, etc. Then I decided
to rename one computer to FRED (say) - then changed my mind and put it
back to ONE.
Now in 'Computers Near Me' all three names are shown: ONE, TWO, FRED
even though there are only two machines. There must be a simple way
to remove the invalid/unwanted name, but I haven't managed to find out
how.
Any clues would be greatly appreciated.
