Norton 2004 detects it as a virus?

Google is your friend...

Where was the file detected? If it was detected in the temporary
internet files (TIF) then simply purge them. You may need to
temporarily disable norton when doing this as it will 'lock' the
detected file.

P.S. This is not a virus. This is a heuristic detection for a known
vulnerability. In other words it detects object attempting to exploit
a known software flaw.

Thank you for pointing that out.
I found the file but could not delete it nor right click it. I move the hold
cache file out to the desktop until I find a solution. I don't get the
notice
anymore.

You didn't answer my question.

Where was the file detected? If this a temp internet file then you can
purge the entire contents of the folder. tools>internet options>delete
files

I only use firefox. Doc and setting cache

Same idea, different directions for different Browser.

In FireFox...

Tools --> Options --> Privacy --> Cache --> Clear
