During a browsing trip two nights ago I lost msn.com as
my home page to this address:
res://mshp.dll/index.html#10213

I followed the internet options path of instructions
several times but msn.com never stays as the home page
address. This other address brings up a search engine.

I have also gone into the task manager/processes but
can't identify a match to end the virus process.

I have also looked into msconfig/startup to see if there
was a match. Couldn't find anything.

Any ideas?

mshp.dll = coolwebsearch trojan

Run the "Cool Web Shredder"
http://www.merijn.org/files/CWShredder.exe
Ensure all instances of IE & OE are closed, hit the executable and
follow the prompts.
