How to remove a URL link?

Hello Experts:

I am a victim of pop-up pages, and would appreciate
expert advises. It seems that some active scripting have
taken place, and When i "right" mouse click on a webpage,
there is a weblink being shown just above "Properties"
and it shows ">>> CHEAP FLIGHTS <<<"...!! Does anybody
know how to remove the link permanently? Please help if
you can and I will certainly be very grateful. Thanks!
 
Start-Run-Regedit.
Navigate to this key and see if your offending item is there in the
list of sub-keys. If so, then remove it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt
