I posted a question in error and I would like it removed . How can I
do that?

If the newsgroup honors cancellation requests, highlight the message you
dislike (must be your message and same machine) - click on Message - Cancel
Message. Keep in mind that this will cancel the message for anybody who
hasn't downloaded it already. To get it to disappear from your machine you
will have to delete it or reset your group.

Cancel message is grayed out in this newsgroup. Is there any other options?
Is there a way to edit the original post?

I don't think there is. About the only option is to post a follow-up
message with any correction desired.

Cancel message is grayed out in this newsgroup.

If the cancel option is grayed out, you may not be posting with the original
sender information.
Is there any other options?

Canceling from within the news client, using the original sender email
address is the only way. Many, perhaps most now, NNTP servers do not honor
cancel requests because of rogue cancels.
Is there a way to edit the original post?

Once it has been posted, the only way to make corrections is in a followup
post.

Norman, You were correct that I was not posting with the original sender
information. I fixed that and I was able to cancel the post I sent in error.
Thanks.
