How to remember size and positions

Not all programs that run on Win XP behave properly and remember the size
and position on the screen.
I use dual monitors, and some programs I have open screens only inside the
mother programs.
I can drag them to the other monitor, but the next time, the return to the
mother program.

Is there a utility that will remember where a certain screen was last closed
and upon opening that screen, return it to it's size and position?

As always, please and thank you.

If addressed at all, it is controlled by the individual applications. Look
in the program's menu bar for "Windows" settings or in its menus for
"Layout" or "Workspace" options.

I believe there are some third party tools (desktop managers and some
multiple monitor programs) that could step in but have never tried any.
Might want to check out UltraMon at www.realtimesoft.com as a possible
solution.

Thank you.

NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager does all that 4 nVidia
v-cards which u may want to consider when u buy new
v-card. Driver has over 40 tabs & can do amazing
things. Not much help now tho.

Any advise is my attempt to contribute more than I have received but I can only assure you that it works on my PC. GOOD LUCK.
