Ensure Outlook is completely closed. (Ctrl+Alt+Del - ensure there are no
running instances of outlook.exe) REmove any PDA from its cradle as well.
Locate the .pst file, cut and paste to the new location of your choice.
When you open Outlook, it will whine until you point it to the new location.
NOTE: Access has nothing to do with this process.

After furious head scratching, SureshNN asked:
| I am trying to move the outlook 2000 pst file from the default
| location to another disk with more space, but I get a file access
| denied when I try to create a new file within access and even when I
| move the file to the new location and try to open the file.
|
| Does anyone know a solution to this? I am running XP Prof and Office
| 2K SP3, and the user account is poweruser.
|
| Thanks.
