I need to re-install XP on RAID haddrives. Do I reset the RAID volumes
or delete the volumes or what? I installed a pirated copy of XP and
now can't install service pack 1 because of "invalid product key". So
Ill go buy XP and start over. How do I re-install it?

Once you buy your legal copy, you may be able to reset the serial number. If
you try to Activate your current copy, it will refuse to activate due to the
bad number and will give you the option to retype it. Type in the number
from your new CD. If this doesn't work, then a reinstall over what is
currently there would probably be the easiest.

To install to RAID hard drives depends on the RAID controller and how you
set up the RAID. Usually, you use the controllers utility to set up the RAID
and when you first start the install of XP, press F6 when prompted (it's a
short prompt, so be ready) and insert a floppy with the XP drivers for the
RAID controller.

You pretend that you don't have the array at all, proceed as if you had a
single volume on a single drive, except you need the RAID driver floppy
ready as Wayne mentioned.

You do not need to enter the RAID configuration utility. If you do delete
then recreate the array, you'll simply be repeating what you did before
without any reason to do so.
