See the links in my signature on how to create a useful post.
Best I can suggest with the zero info you provided is contact the laptop mfg
or read the manual.

I've noticed that a lot of newer laptops don't come with a Restore CD, but
rather a Restore Partition on the Hard Drive.

May be worthwhile looking for that.

Most notebook makers will send you a restore disk, though they often charge
for it. Check the site. Then, somewhere in the bowls of your new machine
is a program to make a recovery disk. It should be one of the first things
you do. Good luck.

If it still boots there is usually an option to restore to factory new using
that hidden partition. But you will lose anything you did since you bought
it. Try the manual, or the help files that came with it for information on
how to do it for your machine.

Good luck.
