I have an external USB hard disk that I plugged into a malfunctioning
USB hub on XP, SP3. I've got the error "USB Device Not Recognized". In
the past, I saw similar error messages with my USB printer. The solution
there was to uninstall it and reinstall it - since then it works. How
can I do the same for a USB disk where Windows found a driver
"internally" and automatically installed it for me? So, how can I
uninstall this driver and have Windows find the hard disc again as "new
hardware"?
Thanks,
Martin
