I finally managed to FTP my web, but now if I click off my home page and go
to another of the global pages it won't let me come back to the home page
link because it is looking for "index" not "home" so if I type in "index"
after the address in the address bar it gets me back to the home page. How
can I fix this?

Contact you web host to find out what the file name is required for your home page, then rename the
page.

I have tried to rename the page by resaving it as "index". I can't figure
out how to rename the link tab. How do I rename that?

You need to rename the page from within a open FP web via FP and you must check with your web host
for the correct file name, such as index.htm, index.html, Index.htm or Index.html, etc.

Thanks for the tips Patty and Thomas,

I have it saved as index.htm, but look at it.
http://www.bodyviewscanning.com/ it still says it can't find it? It is
still somehow "home". I just have to change what it's saved as, right? Do I
need my links and heading to say "Index"?

Your "home" page needs to be saved as index.htm. All your pages that have a
Home button need to have the hyperlink changed from <a href="Home.htm"> to <a
href="index.htm">. You can do a global find and replace.

good tip on the find and replace. apparently everything IS index.htm and on
the website if I type that it works. What is going on? the only thing that
still says "home" is the link which appears on all pages, but that doesn't
appear when I do the search..? I used a template so the links don't even
show in my search?

On your "Home" page, the link button to "home" is correct, and
pointing to index.htm.

the other pages are incorrect - if you navigate to any of the other
pages in the site, the "home" button is incorrectly pointing to
"home.htm", you need to open up each of the other pages in frontpage
and correct the "home" button hyperlink - change it from home.htm to
index.htm , and repeat the change on ALL pages (Except the actual home
page - it's correct.)

if you open up the site and pass your mouse of the home button you'll
see the url it points to down the bottom of the explorer window - now
go to another page in the site and do it again - see the difference?
should be "index" not "home".
