How to redirect a Charter.net page?

My site address was/still http://webpages.charter.net/gfarmer1933/
however I now own my .com and want to redirect to http://
www.naturalproperties.com.
However I have made and uploaded a .htaccess file and tried several
redirect setups and none work. Will it not work with charter? If not
how?
use http redirect?

Do you use a dynamic DNS service to keep your domain pointed at your IP
address? If so, do they offer an HTTP redirect? I use Dynamic DNS Network
Services, LLC.; they have an HTTP redirect that I am using on three
different free web page services.
