How to recreate admin. account

I have not used my desktop for about six months, turned it on, I can only
sign in as guest with very limited use of my computer. How can i create an
admin account while signed in as guest? Please help, I need to perform a
system restore, but restrictions under guest won't allow me. XP home.

Since it is impossible to delete the "Administrator" account, there
is no need to recreate it. Simply log on under this account and
type in the correct password.

Note that if you were able to log in as guest, then create an admin
account, then Windows security would be a bit of a joke . . .

Note also that you're in the wrong newsgroup. Your system
appears to be WinXP home. This newsgroup, as its name
says, focuses on Win2000 issues.
