how to recover previous version of ppt files

I have a file A.ppt, i made some modifications and wanted to save as B.ppt.
by accident i clicked the name A.ppt instead during 'save as'. now i lost my
previous version of A.ppt. can i restore / recover the original A.ppt file.
How?
