How to recover photos that were deleted from Dimage Viewer?

I was using this software to do some touching up for my photos. And then I
wanted to delete a photo, I selected it and press the delete button. All of
the sudden, the whole folder was deleted instead. It happened twice and 600+
precious photos were gone. I tried to use "Smart Undelete" but no satisfied
result. Right now try to use ZAR to try. Any good advise? Please help! Thanks!
 
I used many softwares but couldn't retrieve the photos. I then remembered
that I might still be able to retrieve the 1st batch of lost photos in my SD
card and successfully retrieved using "Vaiosoft Recovery Manager". I later
used "Norton Systemworks" to unerase and finally retrieved the 2nd batch of
500+ photos.
