How to record TV to my HDD

Hi

I have radeon 8500 128mb and I want to record some movies to my HDD and then
burnd them to DVD disc.

How I can do this ?

Please help me.

video cables are connected?
Source will be? VHS- DVD-CAMCORDER etc
start TV
click check mark (setup)-virtual recorder
chose video format AVI mpg1 mpg2
chose connector input
chose destination and file name scenario
start source
click the camera in the control module begin record\
end when ready
