How to re-install IE6 in Windows XP SP2

As I was eliminating some Adware-VX2 etc. I stupidly deleted anything in my
registry associated with the term "Browser Helper." I knew that's how some
adware works but didn't realize IE also needed it. When I try to start IE it
say unable to download from web site. When I try to reinstall it it says
that my version is newer.
Please help if you can.

Make sure your antivirus is turned off.

You will need to uninstall WinXP SP2 from Control Panel -> Add/Remove
Programs and then reinstall Service Pack 2.

Thanks, it worked well now I need to figure out hoe to get a clean install on SP2.
