I'm using MS Frontpage 2003 and Word 2003. I want to put a word document
onto our website which will be accessible to colleages only through a
password. So I have opened the word document and clicked on Tools, Security
and given it a password. I then copied and pasted the document into the
directory I set up in MS Frontpage, and then published to the web. However I
am not sure that what I have put on the web is still a word document and more
importantly, whilst colleagues can access it and edit it via the web, how do
they save their changes on the web?
Thanks

With a word document, they can't
They can only download it and save changes to their own computer.

but they won't be able to reupload it - that is your priviledge - and I
wouldn't recommend giving your password for your hosting account out to too
many people.
