Can someone explain to me just How to properly (and
securely) use the NETWORK, SYSTEM, and SERVICES accounts?
I am setting up ntfs permissions and don't want to lock
out Windows (if it needs these) but also want to not leave
a possible vulnerability in place. Please email me if you
can help, Thanks!

Normally you would assign SYSTEM with full control to all
your drives. Most of your services run under Local System
account. So setting permissions for SYSTEM you assign
permissions to the system itself including services which
run under that account.

For example, if you don't specify permissions for SYSTEM
for a volume, Diskeeper (which runs under local system
accout) won't be able to access this drive.
