How to print Powerpoint 2007 Notes Pages faster?

The new Powerpoint (i.e., 2007) takes a long-long time to print Notes Pages.
I am looking for a solution of how to speed up the printing of these Notes
Pages. Printer or PDF, it takes a considerable amount of time which did not
use to be the case with the prior generation of MS Office.
 
The solution works. THANKS!

Version control is an issue that comes to mind since the "actual" slides are
being replaced by pictures. In other words, if there is a change to the
slides, some process control needs to be in place in order to update the
images pasted in the Notes Pages. Any macros out there to automate this
process? I tried the one on the website but ran into some issues.
