Hello there:

I have a couple of very useful old dos programs for Energy Calculation that
I use in my work. Before I used to print the calculations using an older
printer (Cannon 230). I got two new HP printers but every time I try to
print from these programs I get all these weird characters.

Is there anything I can do to correct this?

Thank you in advance for your help,

Regards,

Can the program print to a generic line printer? If so, install the
generic printer, and set it to print to file.

After the program finishes, pick up the text file with Wordpad, adjust
formatting and font to suit, and print it to your newer printer via it's
driver.
