Does anyone know how to have the date left on in the rendered movie like in
a video copy? I can see the date printed in my video camera but after
capturing on MM2 the date of video capture is missing. It is still in the
timeline but I am unable to have it left on in the final movie copy.

Thanks.

This is a problem with DV cameras. The date/time information is
electronically "stamped" on the video - and the camera itself can display
it. But when the video is transferred to a computer, either the date/time
stamp information is stripped off, or there simply is no software that can
display it. I would be interested to know if there is any capture software
than can somehow maintain and display the date/time info?

The information on date and time is well transmitted to the PC. When you
import from a dv cam and ask MM2 to detect scenes, each "clip" gets a name
in the form of "22/08/2003 14:33".

Is there any way to have MM2 stamp that clip name on the clip so it's
displayed on the final edit?

Not without using the text feature and doing it yourself for each clip.
