A customer asked me today how to print ALL THE NOTES within her tasks,
and up until today my standard answer was to use the Memo print style
or use AutoPreview for short notes. After reading a lot of google
threads I was getting ready to refer the customer to a 3rd party
product. Before I emailed the customer, I decided to try out a theory
that popped into my head. I liked the results so much I thought I would
share it with the world to see if it will help others in this commom
quest.
Here is what I did:
1) Create a new view in your tasks folder, but select Day/Week/Month as
the Type of view.
2) Keep the default fields as Start>Due Date, and End>Due Date. Click
OK and apply the view.
3) While in this new view that displays your tasks in a calendar
format, go up to File>Print.
4) Notice now your Print style choices are the same as in any calendar
folder. Select Calendar Details Style.
5) Print Range: It's important to select the appropriate Start and End
dates according to your needs. So if you want to print the next 6
months of Tasks, set the Start and End times appropriately.
6) Click OK or Preview to see how it's going to print.
This seemed to give my customer exactly what she wanted. Hopefully
you'll find this helpful to you as well.
