How to preview TrueType fonts on a CD?

I would like to burn a large collection of my favorite TrueType fonts onto a
CD-R, and then be able to preview them in Windows Explorer while they're on
there.

Does anyone know of a good freeware application that will preview the fonts
in this manner?

In Windows Explorer, have you tried right clicking on the font file and
selecting Open?
