How to prevent data entry in skipped controls?

Hi,

I have a data entry form that uses skip patterns to direct users past
questions that are irrelevant. Is there a way to prevent the users
from entering data in the controls that they skip over? I've written
the skip patterns with macros in the After.Update event. Is there a
way I could add this onto the macros I've already written? Thanks so
much for the help!

You can either lock or disable the controls that you do not want your users
making data entry.

Just look for the "Lock" property or the "Enabled" property and set the
Locked to true or the Enabled property to false. You also can reset these
at any time with macros or VBA code.
