How to prevent changes in 2007?

Hi all,

Using 2007, Windows Vista

Is there a way to password protect a presentation so people can view it, but
not edit / copy the content in any way? I've found the password to open and
password to modify settings, but neither of them prevent physical changes to
the presentation.

I've thought about converting to PDF, but I ALSO need to create a password
for OPENING the file (and can't find a way to do it via PDF).

In the end: people need a password just to open it, and then ANOTHER
password if they'd like to EDIT / COPY the content of it.

Is this possible in 2007, without third-party downloads?

Thanks so much!

Thanks Alex. I went to Office button / Prepare / Restrict / Restricted
Access. But when I select this, I get an error message that says "This
service is temp unavailable. Ensure you have connectivity to the
server....". I HAVE tried using this across all apps in the past several
weeks, and continue to the get the same message (even though I have a perfect
connection to our company's server.

Is there something I need to set up first?
