Hi,

is there a way to stop FP2002 from creating 'border collapse" ?

I managed to stop it creating (or it deletes on 'save') the id auto
number tag :-)

thanks,

Mike

Got this from a site and it is supposed to be a permanent workaround.

Table >> Insert Table- set the Border size to 0 (zero), then click
Style>>Format >> Border and choose " none" from the Style drop down
box. Click OK, OK, check the box that says " Set as default for new
tables" and click OK again. Then right-click on the table, choose
table properties, and put a check in the " Show both cells and table
borders" box.

This apparently can only be done via Table/Insert Table and not from
the table icon which in itself is very strange ?!

Anyway I tried the above but 'border' is grayed out when I use the
'Styles' drop down box.

I'm using FP 2002 SP3

Any ideas ?

thanks

Mike

It worked of course.

formatting was checked but positioning wasn't.

I think you're a great man in spite of what others say :-)

Mike
