How to prevent Access and Wasp barcode conflict?

I am doing a report that performs a summary for time cards and prints some
information in barcode to be entered into our accounting package. When I use
the Wasp barcode software to format the cell. It won't allow me to build an
expression.

I have considered this solution, however, it requires me to add asterisks
before and after my expression. The wasp fontware allows me to not have to
take that step. The fontware adds the needed asterisks. Perhaps it is not
possable to use the fontware in this manner with this program.

If you are looking for an alternative tool that will allow you to add
perfect bar codes to Access database reports, you might try the TAL
Bar Code ActiveX control. It is not a font based product and instead
it generates high resolution images of bar codes in the ActiveX
control container. It also does everything for you including adding
start/stop codes or calculating check digits. It also allows complete
control over all other aspects of the bar code including the
symbology, height, narrow bar width, colors, rotation, etc.
You can download a demo at the following URL:
http://www.taltech.com/products/activex_barcodes.html
The demo comes with a sample Access database containing several
reports that demonstrate how to use the control in Access.

Thanks for the input, however, I am not looking to purchase additional software I just want to make what I have work.
