How to post to 2 Calendars at once?

I would like to be able to put an appointment in mu OL2K calendar, and at
the same time enter it into a calendar in public folders.

Here is the thought process.;

Each or our users has their own calender in outlook. We also have a
department calendar in public folders. The Public folder calendar is used
to schedule all department members time off (vaca etc). What we are doing
now is having to set two appointments. One in the personal calendar (so
people can use meeting maker) to schedule meetings and one in the public
folder calendar for time off. Is there any way to effect this?

Thanks

Include the public folder among the recipients.

It looks like any other email address. The Exchange administrator can look it up for you if the folder isn't listed in the GAL. You may also have an Add to Address Book button on the folder's Properties dialog.

Sue thanks for the info. Will this work for "all day events"? This is what
a user on vacation looks like. They put the day off in all day events. They
don't book the 8 hrs as busy.

Thanks

The details of the appointment don't matter.

Sue, it worked great. Thanks for the info. One more small detail. If I
DELETE the appt from my personal calendar, AND send the cancelalation to the
public folder, it only marks the appoinment in the public folder as
cancelled. It doesn't delete it. Is there a way to get it to delete (other
than manually going in to the public folder and deleting it? Thanks again
for all your help.
