If I go to My Computer > My Sharing Folders, there is an Excel file there,
the only file in that folder. I cannot delete it - there is no option to
delete. I have tried deleting the entire folder as it has the Windows Live
Messenger Icon but the folder came back.

Any suggestions for deleting the file permanently. It was created in
December 2006 and nothing I need (or want).

Thanks.

Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, I don't have a "file locations" tab. I
am using Excel 2007 and I click Excel Options and have the following
Popular
Formulas
Proofing
Save
Advanced
Customize
Add-Ins
Trust Center
Resources

Across the top I have Home, Insert, Page Layout, Formulas, Data, Review and
View

Any other ideas? Perhaps I'm missing it in one of these.

Log in as Admin, go to here and delete the shortcut or file you don't need

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

or here

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents

Still cannot delete this document. It is in "My Sharing Folders" - I have
deleted the folder but it keeps coming back, with this Excel file in it.

Any other ideas?
