This sucker keeps popping up every time I open Excel, and I really don't
want it anymore. How do I get rid of it for good?

GK,

From Excel's menu: View | Toolbars | Customize
Go to Toolbars tab
Select the sucker, delete the sucker :)

You might also want to check that there is not a workbook, such as
Personal.xls, or an addin creating the toolbar afresh each time.

Ah-ha! I will have to look into that since I do delete it the way Rob
suggested, but it keeps coming back!
