Hi All,

Haven't used Excel for a while, and I may be expecting too much from this
2000 version...

I want to paste text from .docs into Excel cells without the Word
formatting. It appears that sometimes just a straight paste goes in in the
standard Excel font, but most of the time I have to use paste special/text.

Is there a setting I am missing somewhere?

Cheers,

S

Instead of clicking on the cell and touching CNTRL-v, click on the
Formula Bar and the touch CNTRL-v

Ah yes that sounds like the way James. I keep forgetting the formula bar is
not just for formulae.

Thankyou,
