how to paste a document

how do you paste a document on word 2007?
i really am not tech savy
i usually use notepad

like you do in any other application - select all, right-click, choose
"Copy". Click in where ever you want to paste it, right-click, choose
"paste"....

As always, there is another way. Open the document with the data that you
want to copy, on the keyboard: Ctrl+A (Select all), Ctrl+C (Copy), open the
other document, click where you want the data to be placed, then Ctrl+V
(Insert).
