how to organize favorites

promicro

Hi,

I have hundreds of favorites that I would like to organize into group
folders and it seems that this can only be done by moving each favorite
individually - this is a chore! Is there a way to select favorites and move
as a group to a folder - I can't find one...

thanks to all,

rob

Hi promicro :)

What I do in such a case, is go to the Favorites Folder, create a new
folder, the cut and paste the links I want to go into that folder. If you
are not sure where you Favorites are located, you can find it by the
following:

C:\Widows\Favorites

When running Windows XP you can find your favorites under:
C:\Documents and Settings\[USER NAME]\Favorites
They will appear as shortcuts.

First, Quick Favorites Search, here:

and then Favorites Search, here:
http://www.dzsoft.com/

I use both of them and they both work well. Favorites Search is an IE
toolbar which opens a frame in your browser, while QFS opens a separate
window, but offers more versatile search parameters and is faster. Both
Recommended.

Another way to organize is:

FavOrg - Free

or Version 1.2 here:

I'm sure there are others here who have other good suggestions on how to
accomplish this as well. :)

If these steps do not resolve your problem, please post back to this thread
with the details and any error messages.

Hope this helps
