How to open windows in full screen?

I have a Dell desktop with XP and explorer 7. Until recentley, when I had to
uninstall IE 7 and reinstall it, all my websites on my desktop would open in
a full screen. Now they all open in a partial screen. Does anyone know how to
change this? Thanks.

I think the fix is to open IE, hit the maximize button in the upper
right. Then hit FILE-> EXIT Not the red X.
 
Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.
