How to Open Subform in Access 2000... easily

For the life of me, I can't figure out, in Access 2000, when in design mode,
how to open the subform on a main form. In Access 1997, my subforms simply
appeared white and I just double clicked on it to open the subform. Now in
2000, the subforms appear in the control (no longer just white). Though I can
get to the properties of items in the subform now, for the life of me, how do I
open the subform in its full glory?

Thanks,

Matt

AFAIK, you can't. if you don't want to work on it from within the main
form's design view, you have to open it separately from the database window.

Right-click on the subform; you should see a menu item "Subform in New
Window".

A free utility called the "TSI Subforminator" exists at Michael Kaplan's website
and is what I use in Access 2000.

I should mention that this works in 2002 version... it may not be there in
2000?

It isn't there in my 2000 version and I find it completely annoying. I find it
horrific and completely frustrating. I use a lot of trial an error and going
back and forth between the two is so tediously difficult now. Oh, yes,
sometimes it is easier, if you subforms are small. Many of mine are not.
