how to open page with user/password

Hi,
Is there a way to open in IE page like that:
http://user:[email protected]

In firefox no problem, but on IE 6 getting error/syntax page

So is there a way for sending POST with user/pass ?
like this: open("POST", (LPCTSTR)sURL, vbAsynch);
