How to open MS Works 98 .wps file in Word 2000 v9.0?

I have received an attachment to an email that is a .wps
file created by the 1998 Microsoft Works Word Processing
program. How can I open it with my Word 2000 (version
9.0) program?
 
It shoudl open it ok. What does it say when you try to
open it up with word 2000?
