When I try to open JPG files the picture opens in a window but when I open
the next picture from that folder it replaces the first . How can I open
each picture in it's own window? Thanks

Windows Picture and Fax Viewer Open Multiple Instances

Open one image with Windows Picture and Fax Viewer.

Left click the print button.

With the Print Wizard on screen...go back to your image
folder and open another image.

Close the Print Wizard...and you will have two instances
of Windows Picture And Fax Viewer open.

I have only tried up to three.

Irfanview dosen't allow multiple jpg files to open. One replaces the
previous.

I have three instances of it running as we speak. If you click the left
or right arrows, it will bring up the next file it finds, however, if
you double-click the files, one at a time (of course), it will bring the
..jpgs up in individual windows...

Thanks Tom
Is this Irfanview or Windows camera and fax viewer? Is there some other
setting that I'm unaware of because I still can't open them in individual
windows even if I double click them.
