How to open (disassemble) a HP DeskJet 940C?

I want to clean some parts inside, but I can't open the damn thing!
Any ideas on how to do it? Or web-pages with tips? A service manual
would be great, but where do you get your hands on this sought after
piece of a document?

Dean,

I just opened mine to clean it. You must first open the cover and
unscrew the 2 screws that sit on each side of the icons. Then, unclip
the small button panel on the right, and bring it inside the printer.
You will notice a flat light-gray plastic lock that you can push to
unlock the top plastic cover on each side of the printer. Push them to
unlock the front. On the back, remove the drak gray panel, and push
the drak-gray flat plastic locks towards the front of the printer to
unlock the back. You should be able to remove the light-gray cover.
That's how I did it anyway.
