Help

I need to somehow automatically open my Plant Master form while I am inputting potting data in another form. What happens is sometimes a new plant will arrive for potting but due to the fact that everything is in a "relationship" the Potting form does not recognise the new plant. Therefore I have to close the Potting form and open the Plant Master form to "update" then I can go back and enter data.
This also happens with other data such as a new pot colour, if this is fixable it would be much appreciated

Hi. Sorry I cant help but I posted a near identical
question two hours after you did. Mine is called Problem
With Linked Forms. Ill monitor replies to your post and I
suggest you do the same with mine. I suspect any fix
suggested will be the same for both. Its a bit spooky
when this sort of coincidence happens - it happend one
other time to me a few months ago. Cheers, Noel

Hi Brocky,
Why not have the master form open first. If data
was needed you could update the master and then click on a
button to bring up the Potting form. Maybe I've
misunderstood or am simply having a senior moment :)

I am trying to get a result like MYOB uses when you invoice a customer that is not in the Card file it automatically pops up the card file for instant updating. Basically I am trying to get an event happening so that my employees who are using my database (who are not totally computor literate) can easily update the Plant Master when entering records. I have set up a switchboard for entering data only into Potting table and Propagation table, it is too confusing for them to have to find another form to update the new plant that they have just potted or propagated.
