I've decided that my comp isn't quite ready for Vista yet, and I want to go
back to XP. I've heard that a Vista key is only good once unless you
uninstall the first instance of it. How do I uninstall my Vista so that I
will be able to use the product key again later when I reinstall it?

Have you Activated?
Check Computer properties and see. If not, you have not soiled the key.

If you have, you can still install on another computer, but you will
probably need to phone Activate and explain. The Phone activation support
is darn good about doing the right thing.

No Uninstall. Move your data off the drive, Partition and format with an XP
disk and install XP clean.

Save what data you want to save, then use the XP CD to do a clean install of
XP, just as if you installing XP clean on a drive that didn't contain Vista.
