Hi, Im trying to move a SUBDOMAIN into a active AD structure. Does anyone
know how to do this?
The SUBDOMAIN is currently in europe and the AD structure is held in the UK.
Any pointers or TIDS would be great, as im not to sure what I should check
first and move first.

Thanks alot Matt.

You add a domain as a child to another domain during dcpromo. If the domain
is already set up, you would have to run dcpromo to remove AD (and loose all
the user accounts) then run it a second time while it can contact the forest
you are trying to add it to.

Or

You can setup a new domain as a child domain of your existing domain and use
ADMT to migrate the users from the domain you want to get rid of, to the new
child domain.

it sounds like you want to restructure you AD forest. Is that true?

You can either:
(1) create new domain and migrate everything from the old one

(2) restructure the structure by performing a domain rename
