Steven L Umbach said:For computer on/off I would enable auditing of "logon" events and system
events in the Local Security Policy of the workstation and then look in
the security/system logs of the computers you want to track. For domain
workstations that can also be done at the domain/OU level. To track
website access you can do it at the gateway if your firewall has that
logging ability. ISA 2000/2004 [which you can try for free] for instance
has extensive logging ability to track what websites users access and can
track what individual users access. There are other third party solutions
if you search Google for "internet tracking software" for packages that
work on individual computers and for the enterprise. For a general idea of
what users are accessing you can look in the cached zone of your Active
Directory domain controllers that are forwarding to the internet for
internet domain name resolution but you may need to select advanced in
view of the DNS Management Console first. --- Steve
