Dear Sir,

When I select more than one user in "Win2K AD Users and Computers" tool, I
can't find the "Properties" option when right click the mouse button.
I would like to modify the User Properties for multi-user accounts selection
at a time. Please kindly advise how to do it?

Thanks &
Regards,

Edmund,

This is not really supported natively in WIN2000. As Paul stated, it is
supported natively in WIN2003.

However, there are several ways that you can accomplish what you are trying
to do. One way is to use ldifde. This can work for you but it is a bit of
work. Not too much work if you have a good idea how to use this tool, but a
little bit of work nonetheless!

One of my favorite tools is ADModify. This will allow you to do a lot of
things. I would suggest that you take a look at this tool.

You can also possibly use the new DS* tools to do this. However, in a
WIN2000 environment they may not work too well unless you modify the schema
( simply drop in a WIN2003 Server CD and run adprep /forestprep and adprep
/domainprep.....just be aware of the meaning of doing this ). And then
there is still a little bit of functionality lost...

Hi Cary W. Shultz,

ADModify is definitely a good tool to help me. BTW, just the ".Net" version
has the option to force user to chaning password in next Logon.

Thanks You Very Much!!
Edmund
