My organisation likes to change the View of Contacts. We use Outlook
98.
Via a centraly maintained 'logon-processor' every time a users logs on
into the netwerk, the registry is modified to change settings of
several programs.

I am looking for the 'golden tip' to find the location in the registry
to change the view-settings of the Contacts. I know how to modify the
view-settings and even to create my own view, but I need the place
within the registry where I can find this settings. Because I assume
it is filed in the registry (or not)?

thanks for your help

The view isn't stored in the registry the view is stored in the mailbox
(pst-file or Exchange).

AFAIK there is no way to enforce a view for all the separate mailboxes
