I have created a new view in my contacts. And now I want to import a table
from Excel 2003 into Outlook 2003. But, I don't see the fields that I
created in my new view to map to when I go through the import process.
Can/how can I modify the fields available in the map field?

You didn't identify which fields you're referring to. Having said that:

#1 - Not all standard Outlook fields are accessible via Outlook's import
map (not related to your view)
#2 - NO custom (user-defined) fields can be imported via Outlook import
function
#3 - Custom forms (if you're using one) are not supported via the Outlook
import function
#4 - You can't change the fields shown in the Outlook import map

You will need to write your own code or use a 3rd party product such as ours
(info via link in sig line). You may also find something appropriate here-

Slipstick site)
