how to migrate pst from outlook(XP) to Windows mail(Vista)

Have just bought Vista and cannot seem to be able to move my contacts and pst
data from Outlook 2003 to Vista's WIndows mail. Any ideas how it can be done?

You can't of course. You can only move Outlook data to Outlook. Once there
you import to Windows Mail.

And in fact WM won't import Outlook contacts directly anyway - they need to
be exported to CSV first....

Outlook 2003 needs to be set up and configured on the Vista PC, before in WM
you can Import msgs & Contacts.
Or on the origonal PC export OL data to Outlook Express & the WAB, then move
the entire msg store & WAB to the Vista PC, then Import from those

Transfer your Outlook data to Outlook Express on the old PC and you then be
able to migrate that data to Windows Mail on the new PC.
