how to - mass distribution of Service Pack

I am new to server administration. can anyone help me how
to distribute and apply service packs to my
networked/client machines?
Each user right now has a logon script to map drives to
the server.
 
W2K SP4 and XP SP1 can be distributed via Microsoft Software Update Services
or via Group Policy.
