Thanks for the link.
If this was packaged in a worthwhile manner instead of repetitively annoying
ways, it would not have web pages dedicated to it.
The UAC is a great acheivement, but it needs better user friendly controls.
We built PC's to handle repetitive tasks for us, not feed them to us!
Happy New Year,
P.S. I hope the final release of SP1 addresses these UAC bugs called
features.
Here is how to diable that "fade". Please note the security paragraph in the
article. It does do "jack" for malware...

no it’s a registry change then.
This is just a fade control, it doesn't do jack for malware.
Hi,
It's a lockdown screen to prevent unscrupulous software from enabling itself
without the user's permission. You'd have to disable UAC entirely to bypass
it, which is not suggested. By disabling the lockout screen, you are opening
the system to infection by malware designed to take advantage of unsecured
desktops.
UAC can be disabled via the Tools tab of msconfig if desired.

My thoughts
http://rick-mvp.blogspot.com
This was a setup and forgot how to fix thing.
Is this a checkbox or a registry tweak?
Every time the Allow/Deny screen comes up the screen blanks and refreshes.
I hate that! LOL!
Please advise how to make it stop....
